Flight Projects Miscellaneous Documents Collection, 1965-1995.

The documents are arranged in chronological order. Each document contains some information about one of the following flight projects: Mariner IV, Mariner V, Mariner VI, Mariner VIII, Mariner 9, Pioneer VI, Pioneer VII, Viking, Surveyor, Voyager (MJS '77), CRAF (Comet Rendezvous Asteroid Flyby), Wide Field Planetary Camera (WF/PC), Magellan, High-Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (HIRIS), Space Infrared Telescope Facility (SIRTF), Cassini, and Mars Observer. The types of documents and the originators vary. The collection includes contractor reports, technical reports, technical bulletins, summaries, newspaper/journal articles, and studies. While the majority of the documents originated with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the collection also contains documents that were prepared by NASA, Langley Research Center, Goddard Space Flight Center, and contractors such as Martin Marietta Corporation and Hughes Aircraft Company.
